St Thomas More College (Tommy or Tommy More) is a popular option for students looking to join a warm, diverse and inclusive community dedicated to helping you achieve your dreams.
Applying early gives you the best chance of securing a place. Don’t leave it until you receive a university offer, as most of our places will have been filled by then.
Use the following steps to guide you through the application process.
Step 1: Discover

Step 2: Apply
Tommy More is one of five residential colleges at the University of Western Australia, collectively known as College Row.
Prospective Tommy residents need to first complete an application with College Row, via the UWA Accommodation Portal
Here you will rank the five Colleges in order of preference; when you nominate St Thomas More College as your first preference, we will reach out via email with a link to complete our application via the Tommy Portal.
Step 3: Outcome
Shortly after submitting your application via the Portal, you will receive an email from our Admissions Team advising you of the outcome.

Deciding where to live while studying at university is exciting, yet often overwhelming. With so many options to choose from, it can feel impossible to know where to start. At Tommy, we are proud to offer programs, events and experiences unique to us, things you won’t find anywhere else. Things that will help you not just sail, but soar.
Eligibility
At Tommy, priority is given to students intending to or currently studying a full-time, full-year undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of Western Australia. We also welcome applications from students intending to or currently studying at Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University, and the University of Notre Dame, as well as technical colleges such as TAFE (with a view to attending university).
The College accepts a limited number of single semester applications; however, these are reserved for exchange and study abroad students, and current residents graduating mid-year.
