St Thomas More College (established 1955) is a Catholic co-residential College situated adjacent to The University of Western Australia. Located only 10 minutes from Perth City, and 15 minutes from the sparkling waters of the Indian ocean, the college provides convenient accommodation for students during the University semesters or for conferences and seminars during the holidays.
The College is on a busy public transport route so there is ample public transport available to Perth, the beaches and other destinations. Kings Park - an extensive area of beautiful natural bush land and nature walks - adjoins the back of the College, and the Swan River is a short walk across the road from the front of the College. St. Thomas More College strives to create a community in which Christian values and attitudes prevail. It is administered by the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth, with the help of a dedicated and skilled staff. Most of the 170 residents are Catholic, but students of other faiths are welcome.
The College prides itself on being an extension of the resident's home and family. It assists students to cope with the challenges of tertiary studies and has an extensive academic and pastoral support program. Singaporean alumni should note that the Alumni Association of Singapore maintain their own web site with additional information on the Singaporean Chapter of our Alumni. |
