Sport
One of the busiest areas in the College, regardless of the time of day, is the tennis / basketball / netball court next to the Junior Common Room. Whether it's an organised team event, a casual kick about, or a single student practicing at the basket, there is almost always someone taking advantage of our on-site sporting facilities.
And a weekday afternoon would hardly be classed as normal without a game of football or soccer out on the quad, with random teams of students taking a break from their studies to get some exercise, and take out some aggression on an innocent leather ball. As well as recreational facilities on site, and a fully equipped gym just across the road, inter-College competitions play a large part in the sporting life of the institution, and in recent years have included:
- Athletics
- Badminton
- Basketball
- Cricket
- Cross Country
- Dragonboat Racing
- Football
- Hockey
- Netball
- Soccer
- Softball
- Squash
- Swimming
- Table Tennis
- Tennis
- Touch Rugby
- Ultimate Frisbee
- Volleyball
- Water Polo
If you can't find something you like in that list, there is absolutely nothing stopping you from organising a competition of your own!
