More About More
Our College byline says: St Thomas More College - Living Learning & More.
And indeed, there's more to our College than simply boarding at University.
At STMC we endevour to offer all residents the opportunity to flourish academically, spiritually, socially and physically.
Our College is named after a remarkable man who was prepared to die for his faith rather than surrender his integrity. In October 2000, Pope John Paul II declared St Thomas More, patron Saint of Statesmen and Politicians. With Thomas's final words ushered on the scaffold before he died, "I die the King's good servant, but God's servant first" taken as our College motto: "Prius Dei Servus" our residents are challenged to live lives of courage, service & integrity.
We realise that the move to University can be daunting time for some students, so we have gathered together a number of resources that we hope will help new and prospective residents to make that transition as smooth as possible.
